The Hiland Hall School is a state approved independent school serving students ages 5-14 where students have the opportunity to learn at their own pace in their own style.  Enrollment is approximately 38 students from the tri-state area.

We are a small school founded in the tradition of Progressive Education with teaching practices influenced by innovative institutions such as the Prospect School and Bank Street School, and by progressive educational thinkers and philosophers such as John Dewey.
