For my independent study, I am studying plays. I researched plays and how they are set up. I researched the types of characters, there are many different kinds. The main two characters are the protagonist and antagonist. The protagonist is the main character, and the antagonist is the opponet. So, for instance, in Harry Potter, Harry Potter would be the protagonist, and Voldemort would be the antagonist.
My project for my independent study will be writing a play. I already have started, and so far I have 22 pages. It’s called Kidnapped in Room 319. I hope to finish the script soon and then perform it with the Middle School as the cast.
