There is a play including two of the Middle School students, Zoe and Erin . It is A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the same play as the school is doing! Erin is being Puck, and Zoe is being Quince. It is being performed at the McCollough House Carriage Barn, in North Bennington. It will start at 7:00 both Tuesday, May 15th, and Wednesday, May 16th. It is open to everyone and it is free. Please come! Thanks!

On Saturday May 19th the school will be doing three fundraisers! There will be a bake sale, a plant sale, and a tag sale. All profits from the bake sale will go to Middle School’s upcoming trip to Boston. Donations for these events can be dropped of at the school Friday afternoon or Saturday morning.

South Group and some North Groupers are doing things to contribute to our town of Maple Ridge. They are choosing what they want to do, such as making a proposal for the town, writing letters to the editor, or writing to the newspaper’s advice giver, Doodle. Town is made fun when people contribute!!!

There is a sickness going around! Everyone wash their hands, and get a lot of sleep!!!! We don’t want anyone to be sick for the play. Apparently this flu doesn’t last long but brings a fever, soar throat, and acheness. I seem to have a stuffy nose, so maybe that goes along with it as well.

Zoe and Ryan have been accepted into Honors Humanities at Mount Anthony Union High School! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!

Every Monday the Middle Schoolers have art with Kate, a parent of a younger student. They worked with graphite earlier in the year and are now working with paint. Almost all the middle schoolers are finished with their first paintings and soon will be working on canvases. Some of the things they have painted are; sunsets, dogs, landscapes, and portraits. Who knows what they will paint next?
